Keyboard Slide 1 Speed Digit Buttons
Numbered pads from +1 to +500: cheap early, then trails take the same Wins.
Digit buttons are the giant numbered pads at spawn in Keyboard Slide 1 Speed, usually across from the treadmills. Stand on a higher pad and every step — walking the candy keyboard or ticking a treadmill — grants more Speed. They are the first upgrade new players see, which is why so many accounts dump 50,000 Wins into +500 while still wearing no trail.
This page lists the Wins costs, the per-step values, and the breakpoints where a shop trail is the better spend. For the actual Speed loop those pads feed, use How to Get Speed. For AFK ticks while you stand still, use Treadmills.
The numbered pads
| Pad (Wins cost) | Speed per step | When to buy |
|---|---|---|
| 0 | +1 | Default. You already have this. |
| 3 | +2 | Buy immediately. Three Wins is a rounding error. |
| 15 | +3 | Buy on the first yellow pad that pays it. |
| 100 | +25 | First real jump. Still cheaper than any trail. |
| 500 | +50 | Tie-break versus Green Trail (also 500 Wins). Trail wins. |
| 2,500 | +100 | After Blue Trail (1,500) is equipped. |
| 15,000 | +250 | After Purple (5K) is on; do not delay Red (25K) forever for this. |
| 50,000 | +500 | After Red or while saving toward Rainbow (100K). Never before Green. |
The left column is the Wins price. The right column is Speed added per step. The pad labeled 0 is the base +1 that the game already gives you. You do not purchase +1; you start there.
Buttons add, trails multiply
This is the math that the lobby does not explain. Digit buttons add Speed per step. Trails multiply Speed gained. Auras multiply too. Rebirths multiply the whole pile. An additive +50 is nice on a fresh account. It is tiny once Rainbow is multiplying the step by 5x and Medal is stacking on top.
That is why the 500-Wins decision is the important one. The +50 pad costs 500 Wins. Green Trail costs 500 Wins and applies 1.5x to every future step, including steps you take on later pads. Buy Green first. Then come back for +50 if you still want the additive bump.
The same logic repeats at 5K (Purple 3x versus grinding toward +100) and at 25K (Red 4x versus staring at +250). Multipliers beat additives when the prices collide. Additives win when they are cheap: 3, 15, and 100 Wins are always correct.
Early session script
- Spawn. You are on +1.
- Clear the first easy stage, step the yellow pad, buy the 3-Win pad, stand on it.
- Repeat for 15 and 100.
- Bank 500 Wins. Open the shop. Buy Green Trail, equip it. Only then stand on +50 if you still have 500 extra.
- Park on the free treadmill between runs so the new per-step value keeps ticking.
If you reverse step 4 and buy +50 with no trail, you have a slightly bigger additive on a 1x multiplier. It feels faster for a minute. It loses the next hour.
Mid-game and World 3
Once Rainbow is on, digit buttons become leftover spends. +250 at 15K and +500 at 50K are fine if Cosmic at 5M is still far away and you have no aura purchase ready. They are wrong if they delay Rainbow, Cosmic, or Fire. World 3 near level 400 cares about the equipped trail and rebirth count, not about whether you found the +500 pad.
Buttons also do not persist as a “win” the way a trail does in your identity on the 22-player board. Other players see your trail. They do not see which pad you last stood on. Play for the multiplier they can copy, then top up pads with spare Wins.
Standing on the wrong pad
Owning +500 does nothing if you are AFK on +1. After each purchase, walk onto the new number. After each rebirth, walk onto it again — spawn can dump you on the default. Pair the pad with a treadmill so the higher per-step value runs while you are in another tab.
Button versus trail spend
Keep a simple rule on a sticky note. Wins under 100 always go to pads. The first 500 goes to Green Trail, not +50. Wins between 1,500 and 100,000 go to the trails ladder first, pads second. Wins above 1M go to auras and Cosmic, not to a pad you already own. Digit buttons are the tutorial upgrade that stays useful, not the upgrade that replaces Keyboard Slide 1 Speed’s whole shop.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Keyboard Slide 1 Speed questions.
Where are the digit buttons?
At spawn, opposite the treadmills. Stand on the highest pad you have unlocked so every step uses that Speed value.
Should I buy the 500-Win pad or Green Trail first?
Green Trail. Both cost 500 Wins, but the trail multiplies all future steps. Buy the +50 pad after the trail is equipped.
Do digit buttons stack with trails and auras?
They add Speed per step while trails and auras multiply. Use both. Equip the trail and aura, then stand on the highest pad.
Is the +500 pad required for World 3?
No. World 3 unlocks around level 400 from Speed and rebirths. +500 is a convenience buy, not a gate.
What if I rebirth — do I keep the pads?
Owned pads stay, but you may spawn on +1. Walk back onto your highest number. Speed itself resets; see How to Get Speed.
